There is no fee for Alpha, although freewill offerings help to defray expenses.
The next Alpha Experience will be offered on Tuesday nights starting Oct 3, starting each week with a hot dinner at 6:30pm. If you are not yet sure, then just register for the "Come and See Dinner" on Tuesday September 19th at 6:30.
Alpha Tuesdays in the Fall:
We will be compiling a list of those wanting to serve in some capacity on the Fall Alpha. Possibilities include: Come and See Dinner, music team, prayer partners, the kitchen community, group helpers, setup, teardown, and decorating. Group helpers need to have already had the full Alpha Experience.
The only requirement to serve on Alpha is a willing heart, the capacity to listen to other's needs, and the ability to commit to the weekly Alpha sessions.
Those who wish to return for a second experience, normally do so in a serving role or accompany a guest they bring.
Alpha sessions always begin with a hot dinner at 6:30pm and end by 9pm. We meet in St Mary's Parish downstairs hall, accessed from the rear parking lot, 100 Young Street, Ottawa.
You may be curious, and might just want to just come and listen without any pressure or commitment. There are no tests and no prior knowledge is expected of you. Your opinion is welcomed. You may occasionally wonder about the purpose of life or why you are here on Earth. You may wonder about death and about Jesus. You may have questions and like to listen to answers on things which are important to you. You may choose not to ask any questions yourself
We will look forward to welcoming you and your friends.
The Alpha Experience is for those aged (almost) 18 and older.
The dinner will be followed by a teaching film and a chance to ask questions.
If you have any concerns which you would like resolved before registering, please contact us.
