Homilies from October 2024

Don’t Be Too Busy

Do you ever feel like you’re lacking clarity or failing to see the good things in life? In his Sunday homily, Fr. Mark reminds us that as God’s children, we are meant to be filled with the Holy Spirit who can help us to see things as they are, and most importantly, to see who we are and whose we are.

God Equips the Called

All of us have a universal call to mission. In his Sunday homily, Fr. Ken reminds us that God will prepare us and give us what we need in our unique mission fields to proclaim the Gospel message to those He places in our lives.

Fr. Mark’s Surrender Moment

Fr. Bob Bedard, the Founder of the Companions of the Cross, once said “that the only thing worth doing in life is God’s Will.” In his Sunday homily, Fr. Mark shares his vocation story and challenges each of us to say “yes” to the Lord in whatever He is calling us to do.

Made for Relationship

Relationships can be challenging; yet, we are made for them. In his Sunday homily, Fr. Ken preaches on the four identities and the importance of being properly formed in them, so that we can love others as Christ loves us.

Take Your Next Step

Growth in virtue is the work of a lifetime. In his Sunday homily, Fr. Mark reminds us that it is important for us to continuously work at weeding out the things in our lives that are not of God, and that we can do this one small step at a time.
