We know that prayer is an essential component of our faith life, but why do we struggle to pray? Remember the acronym A.R.R.R.: Acknowledge, Relate, Receive, Respond.
What are we doing with the time talent and treasure that the Lord has given us? Are we using it just for ourselves or are we giving it to others?
We are all called to greatness. But, greatness comes with humility. Humility is the path to greatness.
Let’s run with perseverance the race that is set before us. Let us pray for the grace to do this every day. We need to do this every day so that we can say, “I have fought the good fight. I have finished the race. I have kept the faith.”
Detach from the world and attach to the Lord. When we do this, our spirit becomes very active.
Prayer is based on a relationship. Prayer is a pursuit. Prayer is not about changing God.
What must we do in order to make it to Heaven? Love God and love our neighbour.
When we follow Jesus it won’t be easy. There is a cost. But, it’s worth it. We will experience the fullness of life, peace, and joy. This is a foretaste of what Heaven looks like. When we hear the voice of the Lord, what will be your response?
When we do these three things…
As we go through, trials there will always a temptation to jump ship. Turn to Mary; find refuge in Mary. Turn to Jesus and fix your gaze in Heaven.
