The New Life Retreat is usually held on a weekend. The retreat consists of presentations, discussion groups, shared meals, Saturday evening Mass, and opportunities to meet and greet with others. The fundamental message of the retreat is the salvation message of Our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
At the New Life Retreat you will be provided with an opportunity to come alive in your faith. No matter where you are at on your journey – Catholic, not Catholic or not Christian but sincerely seeking more meaning for your life – you are most welcome to attend!
What Happens at a New Life Retreat?
The best way to learn what happens at a New Life Retreat is through the testimonies of people who have found the event to be a life-changing and life-giving experience. Here are just four of many:
“Jesus helped me deepen my faith and gifted me with a more profound sense of peace.” – Nick
“I came full of anxiety, worries and overwhelming thoughts. Through the course of the retreat, Christ showed me His love, forgiveness and healing. Happily today I feel renewed and free. After a long time, I’m smiling and able to be myself again, but most of all He opened my heart to His will.” – Hazel
“Sometimes in life, our pain and suffering dulls our love of the Lord. The New Life Retreat helped me get rid of that dullness and renew my joy and love of the Lord to new heights.” – Patrick
“I learned the most important lesson of my life: that I am truly a child of God, a God who loves me unconditionally. This knowledge is a game-changer for me. Receiving the Holy Spirit on Sunday was the ‘icing on the cake’ for what I am sure is a New Life.” – Norbert
