Mass Times

Saturday 5 p.m. – Outdoor, no registration required.

Sunday 9 a.m., & 11 a.m., – Indoor, registration required. A “registration open” email will be sent out at 12:00pm Wednesday.

9 & 11 a.m. Mass will be broadcast through the radio frequency 88.3 and can be heard within 300m anywhere around the church. Participants will be able to receive the Holy Eucharist during communion time. 

Please note:

The Parish office will be closed to the public and working on a curbside model of service. Please call 613 728 9811 to make an appointment.

Outdoor Confessions 

Every Saturday from 4:00 pm to 4:45 pm in the church parking lot. If it is raining, indoor Confessions in the Hall. 

Reminders:

  • Please keep your mask on during Mass
  • For those with medical exemptions, masks must be worn when going up for  communion
  • Please follow the ushers lead, especially while being seated; we are trying to strategically seat you to accommodate everyone.
  • Please remember to wipe your pew before you leave.

St. Mary’s Seniors Needing Help

We need some volunteer drivers to pick up seniors for Sunday Mass. 

  1. Carlingwood Area
  2. Lincoln Heights Area

Also, is there a parishioner available to help a senior learn how to use a new Moto G phone.  Please contact the office.

Night of Worship and Ministry

Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes 

If you would like to help a child in need, Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes will be available to pick up after Mass on the weekends of October 23/24 and October 30/31. Your boxes must be filled and returned to the church by Sunday, Nov. 7th. God bless you for your generosity, and may He bless all the dear children who will be receiving these gifts. Come, Holy Spirit. This year’s shoeboxes are going to: El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Senegal, Gambia, Guinea Bissau, Guinea, Sierra Leone

Ottawa’s 40 Days for Life Campaign

The 40 Days for Life Campaign of prayer, fasting and public vigil for an end to abortion in our community continues to Sunday, Oct 31st, 7 am to 7 pm daily, on the southwest corner of Queen Street, just off Bank Street.  Save the date: St. Mary’s parish prayer vigil day at this location is tentatively planned for Sat., Oct 30th. Synod 2021-2023

 A major consultation of the universal Church, a “synod”, began when Pope Francis inaugurated the synodal process last week. In the Archdiocese of Ottawa-Cornwall, there will be an opening celebration of the Diocesan Synodal Phase on Sun., Oct. 17 at the 5:00 p.m. Mass at Notre Dame Cathedral, Ottawa (livestreamed at (https://www.notredameottawa.com/). People & Planet First Workshop – Development & Peace
