New Webinar Series Explores Synodality in the Church

Saint Paul University’s Research Centre: Vatican II and 21st Century Catholicism is launching a new webinar series titled For a Synodal Church: Communion, Participation, Mission — Reflections.

This series was created in response to Pope Francis’ call for a two-year process of dialogue and discernment regarding the role of the Synod in the Church. Throughout the series, invited speakers will share reflections on the meaning of synodality of the church, its practice in Christian tradition, and the importance of recovering a culture of encounter and communal discernment in our day.

The first webinar, titled What is “Synodality”?, will take place Wednesday, November 3 at 7:00 p.m. (EST). The webinar is free and open to the public.
