Diocesan Synodal Process

As we enter into this Synodal journey together, we wish to share a few important updates with you. First of all, we are very happy to let you know that the Vatican has revised its timelines to allow more time be dedicated to this foundational phase amongst the “People of God.” Rather than having to submit summaries of discussions to the Diocese by February, it now looks like local synodal groups will have until at least early May 2022 to gather and submit these summaries. We hope this will help alleviate some pressure in local Parishes. Secondly, we are in the midst of finalizing a “Coordinator’s Guide” which we hope to share with you by November 19th at the very latest. We hope this guide will serve as a helpful tool for coordinators and small group leaders, both within the Parish and beyond. We are looking forward to this walk together as we listen to one another and to the Holy Spirit! Please stay connected via our website for updates (https://en.archoc.ca).
