After consultation with others including the ACBO, Archbishop Marcel has approved that congregational singing be allowed again. The other COVID-19 preventative measures are to remain in place including the wearing of a face mask and two-metre physical distancing. Hallelujah!

Parking is NOT permitted within 30m of an underpass. Last weekend a number of parishioners received a ticket for parking under the Queensway and along a stretch of Bayswater. Please use the parking lot or park on side streets where permitted.

Knights of Columbus Recruitment Drive

St Mary’s K of C council will be having a recruitment drive at our Parish the weekend of November 13/14, 2021 at all 3 masses. They will be operating out of a tent in the Parking Lot.  They will also be selling Christmas buttons along with “Permission Granted “Books” for any Parishioners who missed out a few weeks ago.

Seniors Event at Holy Cross

Canadian Bishops Invite Residential School Survivors, Indigenous Elders, Knowledge Keepers and Youth to meet with Pope Francis in December

OTTAWA, November 10, 2021 – The Catholic Bishops of Canada are pleased to announce that 25-30 First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Elders, knowledge keepers, residential school survivors, and youth will meet with Pope Francis at the Vatican from December 17-20, 2021, accompanied by a small group of Canadian Bishops. “The journey towards healing and reconciliation is a long one, but we believe this will be a significant milestone in the Catholic Church’s commitment to renewing, strengthening and reconciling relationships with Indigenous Peoples across the land,” said CCCB President, the Most Rev.
