We are looking for volunteer slide operators for the 9AM Sunday Mass. It’s a job you can do right from your pew!

Action Life – Hike for Life – Saturday, April 30, 2022 

Action Life’s 33rd Annual Hike for Life – 5 km route along part of the Rideau Canal takes place Saturday, April 30th.  This is a major fundraiser for Ottawa’s pro-life educational group. Registration takes place from 8:00 am to 10:00 am, April 30th, in St. Patrick’s Basilica’s Basement Hall, 281 Nepean Street, with Official Kickoff at 9:00 am. This is a fun event for the whole family: entertainment, refreshments and prizes. Pledge forms are available at entrances to St. Mary’s church, and at the pro-life bulletin board in the church hall. If you are unable to participate, please consider supporting Fr. Mark Goring, our parish’s lead and guest hiker.  Pledges of $15.00 or more are eligible for a tax receipt. National March for Life in Ottawa

We’re just two weeks away now from the National March for Life in Ottawa, which is scheduled for Thursday, May 12th, the Rose Dinner, the first in-person pro-life gala in three years  Seth Dillon, CEO of The Babylon Bee is the keynote speaker. The National March for Life Youth Summit is being held the day before the March, on Wednesday, May 11th, please visit the March For Life website for more info.

Every ticket purchased will help to fund the Affordable Housing Project launched by the Ottawa Central Council of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul in concert with the Multifaith Housing Initiative (MHI). The OCC aims to raise sufficient funds to cover the down payments of 4-6 apartments for Indigenous families in need. Info: Cost: $10 per ticket, every week.
