Synod Synthesis Report From Arch Ott-Corn Available For Download
This is the report which was submitted to the Ontario Conference of Bishops; the first step in the process on the way to Rome. The report has been posted on the website and can be found here:
Over the upcoming months, we will be reviewing and discerning how to follow-up on the direction we have received. Please keep the Diocese in your prayers and we begin this. Please be assured of our prayers (archottawacornwall) as you look at the same with your parish or group report.

Papal Visit to Canada Program July 24 – 29, 2022
ST MARY’S PARISH VIEWING EVENT
The Holy Father, Pope Francis, will be celebrating an open-air Mass at the Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton on Tuesday, July 26that 12:00pm Eastern Standard Time. St Mary’s will be showing the livestreaming of the Mass in the church, for anyone interested in watching the celebration together. (We are hoping to plan a potluck for after the Mass. If you are able to contribute to the potluck, please email or call the office.)
Pope Francis’ pastoral visit to Canada is a unique opportunity for him, once again, to listen and dialogue with Indigenous Peoples, to express his heartfelt closeness, and to address the impact of colonization and the participation of the Catholic Church in the operation of residential schools throughout Canada.
It is also an opportunity for the shepherd of the world’s 1.2 billion Catholics to connect with the Catholic community in Canada.
Information on streaming will be posted soon on the Papal Visit website:https://www.papalvisit.ca/
