St. Mary’s Southern Garden

Now that the construction work is complete we are asking those parishioners who took the perennials for safekeeping to please return them to the grassy area between the Southern Wall and the walkway, east of the Wheelchair access door. We will be accepting the plants over the next two weeks, as we restore the Garden on the south side of the entrance stairs. Please place your name on your flower pots if you would like them returned. Please do not plant anything in the soil of the garden.

If you have any spare annuals that you care to donate, we can use some to complement the perennials as the garden grows.

Alpha

You may have expressed interest in Alpha in the past and may have considered or even have attended a few sessions.

We understand that situations and interests change. That was then, this is now.

We are starting another Alpha on Tuesdays at 7:00 pm, October 4th and promise to wrap up each session by 9:00 pm.

Alpha is different. It is designed to share the truth about who Jesus was and is. Along this journey of discovery with others who also have questions, insights, and doubts there is a very good chance that you will make new friends, some of whom may be lifelong, or even everlasting.

You’re invited to participate online, from the comfort of your own home.

You can change your mind and drop out. We hope you don’t.

Are you willing to invest about 25 hours of your entire life to perhaps change your whole life? The first ten hours may be tough, but perseverance, as you will see, will be greatly rewarded.

If at all interested, we start Tuesday October 4th at 7:00 pm, and ask you to register using the following link which also provides a little more information:  stmarysottawa.ca/alpha
