Night of Worship and Ministry
Friday, October 23rd | 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
As we worship, see the Lord minister to His people in power! Join us for an evening of praise, prophecy, teaching, and healing. This month, Michael Hall, the Archdiocesan Director of Mission and Pastoral Services, will be speaking on “Deeper Trust”. Prayer teams will be available to pray over you.
Rosary Rally
Saturday, October 10th | 12:00 pm
Let’s gather together and pray for our country! Join us in the church to pray the rosary asking Our Lady to intercede for Canada. The rally begins at noon.
40 Days for Life Parish Vigil Day
Saturday, October 24th | 7:00 am – 5:00 pm | Southwest Corner of Queen Street and Bank Street
40 Days for Life is an international call-to-action campaign of silent public prayer and fasting for an end to abortion in our community, from September 23 to November 1, 2026, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM daily, at the southwest corner of Queen and Bank Streets. Our parish will be covering Saturday, October 24th. Visit the Pro-Life table in the hall after Sunday Masses to sign up for an hour.

All Saints’ Eve Party

Join us for our All Saints’ Eve party at St. Mary’s Parish in Ottawa! Dress up as your favourite Saint or Biblical character and participate in fun games and activities. We’ll be giving away lots of candy and prizes, having a costume parade, and some fun Saints trivia.

Seniors Coffee & Fellowship
Thursday, October 29th | 10:00 am – 12:00 pm | Parish Hall
On the final Thursday of each month, seniors 60 years and older are invited to join us in the hall for some coffee, treats, and fellowship!

Men’s Retreat
Friday, November 6th at 6:30 pm – Sunday, November 8th at 12:30 pm | Waupoos Family Farm
Men of the parish, strengthen your faith amidst today’s culture at our Men’s Retreat! You will be equipped for “Winning the Battle” through fellowship, teaching, and worship led by Marcel Dion. Plus our pastor, Fr. Yves will be hearing confession, offering Mass, and chopping firewood with his chainsaws.

All men are invited to our monthly Men’s Breakfast presented by the Knights of Columbus! Join us for a delicious, continental breakfast and an inspiring talk.
This month, our former Grand Knight of our Knights of Columbus council, Chris du Quesnay, will be speaking on “Leadership in the Home” with worship led by Marcel Dion. All men are invited to attend – and bring your sons!

LIFE CHAIN is coming to a corner near you Sunday October 4th, from 2 to 3 p.m. Thousands of Christians will gather in communities across Canada to pray and publicly witness to the ongoing injustice of abortion. Set aside one hour to stand silently, praying, and holding a sign to remind people of the sanctity of human life and that abortion is indeed the killing of an unborn child. Millions of Canadians have had their lives terminated through abortion and the long-term effects on their mothers, their families and society are only now coming to light. Signs are provided. There are many locations so please come to the one most convenient for you, visit Life Chain to view the impressive coverage of this annual event. The Life Chain closest to St. Mary’s is the Ottawa Hospital Civic Campus on Carling Ave.

Rosary Pilgrimage

Come pray with us!
Pilgrimage together from the church steps of St. Patrick’s Fallowfield to the hall of St. Mary’s Parish, Ottawa.
The 24 km walk will take approximately 7 hours, leaving at 9am and concluding with a potluck reception at St. Mary’s Parish.

Fiat Discernment Group
Thursday, October 22nd | 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm | St. Patrick’s Basilica
Fiat is a series of nights for women ages 18-35 discerning consecrated life, including religious life and consecrated virginity. Following Mary’s Fiat (her “yes” to God), come learn more about the vocation of consecrated life and see how God may be calling you.
Held at St. Patrick’s Basilica, evenings run from 7-9 pm: a talk, small and large group discussion, prayer, and fellowship. Topics explore forms of consecrated life and the process of discernment. Contact Erin at erinkinsella@live.ca.

CALLED: Women’s Retreat

CALLED, A Catholic Women’s Retreat is a sister retreat to Women of Bethany retreats. This is a retreat for women seeking to step away from their daily lives, to seek God’s presence, to hear God’s voice and to connect through fellowship with other like-minded women. This year’s theme is “The Song in My Heart.”
