Journey of Discovery: Spiritual Gifts Workshop

Friday, November 17th – Saturday, November 18th

Discover how God has gifted you for service! This hands-on workshop will help you discern your spiritual gifts and equip you to use them. You’ll leave with a fuller understanding of your role in God’s plan and a greater understanding of your vocation and purpose.

Night of Worship and Ministry: The Way of the Lord

Friday, November 24th | 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Join us for an evening of worship, teaching, and healing. This month, Pierre O’Reilly, the Executive Director of NET Canada, will be speaking on the theme of “The Way of the Lord”. The members of the Prayer and Prophetic Ministry will be available to pray over you.

Bioethics Symposium

Saturday, November 25th | 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM | St. Mary’s Parish Hall

Do you find our secular Canadian culture confusing?  Learn to be a Catholic voice for our contemporary society at the Bioethics Symposium. The speakers are: Paul Coates educator/moral theologian B.Ed M.Div, Kelly Tousignant, Ret’d Prof of Nursing, Ottawa U, RN, B. Sc., M. Nursing, Nick Lusito educator/speaker B.Ed, M.Ed., Theology Diploma. Refreshments will be served for a free will offering. RSVP to nicklusito@bell.net.

Family Advent Retreat

Saturday, December 2nd | 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM | St. Mary’s Parish Hall

Enter into the joy and anticipation of Advent with St. Mary’s Kids! This retreat will feature activities and formation for your entire family – including a craft, a teaching, and an Advent movie at the end of the afternoon. Registration is required for this free event.

Operation Christmas Child is back! Join our Heart of Mercy Ministry in helping kids from developing countries around the world experience the love of God this Christmas. Don’t forget to bring your shoebox back this Sunday! Thank you for your generosity!

Spend an Hour with Jesus

Beloved Disciples Community,
“Jesus awaits you in the Eucharist. Come into the silence and let Him change your life.” – Matthew Kelly
Spend time (10 minutes or more) with Jesus in our Adoration Chapel. After a few visits, ask Jesus if he wants you to spend more time with Him. If the answer is “yes”. Contact Agnes at adoration@stmarysottawa.ca to sign up for a designated hour or to substitute.

Renewed in Liturgy Series

November 10th, 17th, and 24th | Most Holy Rosary Parish | 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Established in 2020, Renewed in Liturgy Ministry is an annual event spread over three evenings in November. It helps Catholics of Ottawa-Cornwall Archdiocese to gain an in-depth understanding of celebration of Eucharistic Liturgy. This year’s speakers are Most Reverend Yvan Mathieu, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Ottawa-Cornwall (November 10th), Rev Fr. Rob Arsenault, CC (November 17th), and Rev. Fr.
