Ministries at St. Mary’s are a huge way in which we fulfill our mission. We have many ministries that serve under the five pillars of the St. Mary’s Game Plan. Find out more about our ministries below.

The question we have to ask ourselves is, “What are we doing with the time, talent, and treasure that the Lord has given us?”

Catherine Sullivan, Mary Scherr & Mary Beth Pion | A really fun group who prepare food and drink after various events at St Mary’s, so that people feel welcome, and are able to spend time socializing with their brothers and sisters in Christ.

Knights of Columbus

Christopher du Quesnay (Grand Knight) | The Knights of Columbus (KOC) is a Catholic fraternal organization, the foundation of which is based on fulfilling four basic principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism. The Order strives to enhance the spiritual life of its members and their families by promoting initiatives that strengthen ties with all aspects of the Catholic Church and its teachings through our ongoing dedicated support of the clergy. Jacquie Farah | Lectors assist in proclaiming the Word of God during the Mass or other parish liturgies. In addition, we increase our own personal spirituality through prayer and the study of Scripture. Lectors are asked to serve in this ministry approximately twice every 6-8 weeks and to attend training sessions.


Warren Scherr | St. Mary’s Music Ministry provides music and worship for Sunday Liturgies as well as major Feast days. Join the Music Ministry Are you interested in leading music at Mass? The St. Mary’s Music Ministry is looking for new singers and instrumentalists. Please fill out the form and attach your audition video before March 16th.

Prayer and Prophetic Ministry

Michael Sarich & Natalia Lacar | The Prayer and Prophetic Ministry offers the hope of being set free from circumstances that keep people from God’s best so that they may live out the fullness of their identity and purpose. We seek to demonstrate the love of God and His power through an encounter with Him and His truth.


Helena Szakowski | St. Mary’s Pro-Life Ministry communicates parish opportunities to actively participate in annual events locally, i.e., National March for Life, Life Chain, and 40 Days for Life campaigns, as well as directs inquiries to spiritual, educational, political, and social support resources regarding life issues. 40 Days for Life September 27 – November 5 What is 40 Days for Life? Michael Crane | We prepare the Sanctuary for Mass, funerals, and sacraments at the church.

Spiritual Gifts

Gary Mellor | The seminar provides an opportunity for committed Christians to discover their God – given charisms for ministry. It is a workshop approach combining presentations, workbooks and completion of an inventory to help the process of identification.


Zac Duval & John Timinski | Help us proclaim the Good News to all nations! The technology ministry offers an opportunity to serve on live stream, sound, or slides. Training is provided and no experience is necessary.


Vania Louangrath | The Ushering ministry contributes directly to the worship of God at Mass. Additionally ushers keep a watchful eye over the congregation, making people feel welcome, assisting with seating, collecting the offering, and maintaining a safe environment.
